Learn about Napa Valley's renown Robert Sinskey Vineyards.
Robert Sinskey Vineyards is named for its founder, Dr. Robert Sinskey, who planted the estate's first vines in Napa's Stags Leap District in 1986 and released his first vintage two years later. Today the winery is run by his son, Rob, and daughter-in-law, Maria, carrying the estate into its second generation.
The vision behind Robert Sinskey has stayed the same since the beginning: farm organically, farm biodynamically, and let the land speak through the glass. The estate farms nearly 200 acres of certified organic, biodynamic vineyards across five properties in Carneros, planted primarily to Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and other Burgundian and Alsatian varieties. This year marks the estate's fortieth vintage, one of the longest continuous runs of biodynamic winegrowing in Napa Valley.
